We are truly honored to have Dr. Escudero, MD,CCFP, DABFM, SA-C, as a preceptor for Family Medicine and Urgent Care clinical rotations. Dr. Escudero is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada Dr. Escudero is also board certified as a surgical assistant. Dr. Escudero brings an unparalleled dedication to the practice of full-scope Family Medicine and Urgent Care. Dr. Escudero embarked on his medical journey at York University in Toronto, Canada before pursuing his medical degree at Saint James School of Medicine in Anguilla. As an international medical graduate, Dr. Escudero’s journey led him to complete an ACGME accredited residency in Family Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. Along this journey, Dr. Escudero has engaged in a myriad of research projects, quality improvement endeavors, and scholarly activities, culminating in numerous impactful research papers. Dr. Escudero’s commitment to education shines through his extensive teaching experience, having served as an adjunct clinical faculty for Michigan State University College of Medicine. His guidance and mentorship has fostered the educational development of countless medical students from Michigan State College of Medicine and Wayne State University. When not practicing medicine or teaching, Dr. Escudero finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether he’s teeing off on the golf course, playing a game of hockey, or playing guitar.
