Yes. We accept international medical graduates (IMGs).
Yes, our clinical rotations are guaranteed.
At this time, our clinical rotations are only in the outpatient setting.
The following are required immunizations in order to begin clinical rotations: hepatitis A & B, MMR, varicella, tetanus, diptheria, pertussis, polio, meningitis, influenza, and COVID. Please see further requirements below:
Hepatitis A: Documented proof of vaccination
Hepatitis B: 1. Proof of primary series of Hepatitis B vaccines 2. Surface Antibody Level (Anti – HBs)- test for immunity 3. Surface Antigen Serology (HBSAg)-test for infection.
Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR): A positive serologic test for antibody, or documented proof of vaccination (NOTE: Two doses of measles and mumps vaccine are required).
Varicella: Varicella A positive serologic test for the antibody, or documented proof of 2 vaccinations.
Tetanus/Diphtheria: Proof of primary series of vaccines or a booster within the last 10 years.
Pertussis: Documented proof of vaccination. Vaccination must have been within the past 10 years.
Polio: Documentation of a complete series of polio vaccine.
Meningitis: Documentation of vaccination.
Influenza: Documented proof of annual vaccination.
COVID-19: Documented proof of vaccination
Yes. Must have a negative two-step TB test within the last year or a negative chest x-ray within the past year. We also accept a negative quantiferon gold test.
Yes, we require active Standard First Aid, CPR-C, or BLS certification before starting clinical rotations. ACLS & PALS are not required, but are an asset.
Yes, we strongly recommend you seek independent malpractice insurance from a third party insurance provider. We do not offer malpractice insurance at this time.
You may still participate in clinical rotations, but is restricted to the observation of patient care only
Med Ed Connect does not sponsor any visas. However, we are able to issue a letter stating that you will be participating in clinical rotations in Canada. This letter outlines the basic premises of your clinical experience and can be used to start the visitor visa process at the Canadian Consulate in your home country.

You will be required to submit documentation showing visa denial and you will receive a full refund.
We accept PayPal and e-transfers.
We require notice of cancellation of clinical rotation at least 1 month prior to commencement of clinical rotation for refund. We do not refund the deposit
Yes, we work closely with you to coordinate your start date. Hours per day of clinical rotation may vary.
No, these exams are not required, although recommended. If you are requesting clinical rotations through your medical school, please check with your medical school first before registering
Yes, we at Med Ed Connect offer our services to everyone regardless of national origin. We do not discriminate on the basis of religion, creed, gender, age, citizenship, country of origin, or disability.
Before starting clinical rotations, we need a copy of your CV, a copy of your immunizations, copy of your photo ID, and copy of a criminal background check
All documents submitted must be in English.
Unfortunately, no. We require full payment of the clinical rotation at least 1 month prior to commencement of clinical rotation.
Yes. All other service packages are paid in advance.
No, we do not provide refunds on any other purchased packages.
We do offer the opportunity to shadow a board certified physician. Please contact us for more information.
At this time, our clinical affiliation is only for Family Medicine and Urgent Care.
We do not have any housing available. However, we are happy to connect you with real estate services.
It is highly recommended to have a car. There is public transportation available.

Yes. If you are not a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, you will need personal health insurance coverage. This may be purchased through a third party insurance provider
